Murasaki's sandals slid down the corridor of the large building, her head bowed respectfully; the suitcase behind her was being drawn by her right hand, while the left held an umbrella, holding it to the side and occasionally wielding it like a walking stick, which had been closed to avoid collisions. The young girl, clad in a deep blue kimono, glanced up wards at the desk, hoping to find someone there.
Three little Pokemon followed behind her, one wary, one happy, and one looking slightly confused; the three all were of the grass variety, though two also had claims as Poison types: a Cherubi teetered behind Murasaki happily; an attractively odd colored Bulbasaur took step after step, not used to being in buildings quite yet; to round out, an Oddish shuffled in the back, enjoying the reprieve from the cold outside.
" Remember, be on your best behavior my little darlings. We don't want to make a bad impression on a kind lady who might help us find a new friend, okay?" Murasaki said, turning to show her Pokemon a rarely genuine smile.

Murasaki's hopes were in vain. No one was to be seen. However, there was a small note that had been placed on the desk. It was on a sticky note, and looked as though it had been used about three hundred times too many. However, it still stuck onto the finely polished wood somehow. It read:
Out to dinner. Back soon. Maybe. Eating w/ Ponytas. -Sarah The last word was surrounded by dark gray eraser marks. Other writing was visible beneath the eraser marks. Apparently, Sarah ate dinner with different Pokemon every night, but saved trees and used the same sticky note each day. Aww... ? Regardless - if she mentioned where she was, it was probably safe to assume she didn't mind visitors. Perhaps it would be better to go out to the fenced fields and find the field with the Ponyta... She was a slow eater. Hence the 'Maybe.'

Murasaki read the sticky note, and sighed lightly. "I suppose we can wait. I'd rather not interrupt while she's eating and bonding with Pokemon." She rolled the suitcase into the corner, strapping the umbrella onto the top; her Pokemon glanced about, looking at the rows upon rows of Pokeballs.
"I wonder when she'll come back?" Murasaki drew the flute she'd hidden in her obi out, playing a few shrill notes, much to the discomfort of her Pokemon. Sighing, she began to blow steadily, creating an eerie little tune, haunting in it's sound. Her flute playign was polished to an extreme, having served as background music foryears during her cousins' performances.
Kurenai began to twirl about, dancing in rythm with the tune, while the other two simply sat back to listen. Opening her eyes to find Kurenai dancing again, Murasaki grinned slightly. Perhaps she'd turn this into a training exercise one day?

Sarah stood up, crumpling the brown bag her dinner had been held in. She held the bag up to one of her newer Ponytas, Shamrock, whom had been given to her by a close friend. She had been named Shamrock for a scar she'd received as a foal that resembled the common symbol of the Irish. Shamrock whinnied and happily let out an Ember, reducing the bag and the tips of Sarah's fingernails to ash. The tips of her fingers were burned, but they were used to it by now; that happened with every meal of every day of every week of every month of every year. She stroked the Ponyta good bye, then headed back up towards the Adoption Center. She approached, walking up a hill that hid her from view of the large windows on the side of the main building. She opened the back door and, much to her surprise, saw a trainer waiting there, playing a musical instrument of some sort, covered in Japanese-esque clothing and surrounded by a hoard of grass type Pokemon. That was certainly something she didn't see every day. However, she did not interrupt; the music was soothing and beautiful; she enjoyed it quite a bit. Instead of getting the girl's attention and ending the music, she decided to stand in the corner and wait for the girl to notice her. Besides that, it would test observational skills - something essential for any trainer or coordinator. Her Pokemon would probably notice her and blow the whole thing, but... Oh well.

Glancing up shortly after Sarah entered, a startled look on her face from the sound she'd heard coming from the door, a smile played across the girl's lips as she blew notes into the flute. Murasaki played for perhaps a minute more, before tucking the flute back into her obi; the Pokemon all stood there, wondering why their trainer had so abruptly stopped, before noticing the presence of Sarah.
"I'm sorry I didn't acknowledge your presence right away. I thought it would be a shame to end the song too early. My name's Murasaki." The coordinator bowed before straightening. Sarah was quiet, she'd give her that, but Murasaki's ears were used to picking out things selectively due to the performances she'd been in back home, and the small sound of the door had alerted her. " I was wondering if I could adopt a Pokemon or two to add to my team for Contests."
The three grass types crowded about Murasaki's feet, studying the trainer intently; as usual, Kurenai simply greeted the other girl happily, while Midori remained cautious. Aoi didn't seem to care as much about either thing, though she smiled.

Sarah nodded, though was slightly taken aback by the amount of politeness and courteousness the girl presented her with. It was shocking in a good way, naturally; not many people were that respectful anymore. She smiled, and turned her attention to the three Pokemon at her feet. A wide grin spread across her face as she kneeled down to more carefully observe the three grass types. Her attention, though, was focused on Midori.
"Your Bulbasaur's coat is an intriguing color... I've only seen one or two like it before. It's very rare - believe me, that'll guarantee an impressed judge or two in the contests." Sarah commented, though she was fairly certain that the trainer already knew that. She stood back up to get back to business, though; she wasn't here as a contest consultant. She was the owner of an Adoption Center, and the girl wanted to adopt someone. That was always a good thing.
"Alright. Assuming you've seen the list of those up for adoption, who perks your interest? Oh - your music is wonderful, by the way. I'm glad you didn't stop. I enjoyed hearing it. You're very talented."

"Oh, thank you. I studied with my cousins in Ecruteak. Not sure if Dianto's even heard of the Ecruteak Kimono Girls. But that's beside the point." Murasaki laughed lightly; she thought it was odd that this girl seemed to bring out a better light in her than most people, but then again Murasaki respected someone who could not only run an operation like this, but also seemed to have an eye for flair.
Midori seemed pacified by the compliment from Sarah, and relaxed; the other two Pokemon settled in aswell.
"Midori truly is a gift. Some woman on Route One asked me for a random number and handed me a Pokeball with Midori in it. A nice gesture, but I'm still a little unsettled with it." Murasaki said, petting Midori's bulb. " As you can see, all my little darlings are grass types; beautiful, true, but I doubt I'd stand a chance against a trainer with well trained Fire, Ice, or Flying types. I saw the poster, and one of your little dears simply caught my full attention. Is the Buneary still available?"

"Ah, yes. No worries, that was set up by those in charge of the region - it's a gift, a promo, if you will. Everyone gets something from it, though not necessarily a Pokemon, and definitely not a Shiny Bulbasaur. But it's completely legit." Sarah said, trying to reassure the trainer. She wasn't focusing her attention on the girl, though she nodded with interest, at the mention of Ecruteak. She seemed to be familiar with the area, though she did not elaborate on it. At the mention of the Buneary, she perked up.
"Hm? Oh, yes, she's still available. She's really a joy to be around - just uh... Be careful with your scraps and food in general. She inhales food like no other." She said, chuckling slightly. A happy expression crossed her face as she was lost in what appeared to be humorous memories - none of which had been humorous at the time. The Buneary she had for adoption was a handful. A cuddly, lovable, handful.

Murasaki, reassured, sighed. " Thank goodness. For awhile there I was worried about it."
As she heard Sarah describe the Buneary, Murasaki smiled; she'd grown up around evee evolutions since her youth, and of all of them, her cousin's Flareon had eaten them out of house and home multiple times.
"Well, if it would be alright with you, could I please adopt the Buneary? I promise to care for the little dear, and she'll have lots of company." Murasaki's voice held a nearly plea-like quality.

Sarah nodded yet again, a smile still placed on her face. She turned around and walked back outside. She returned a few minutes later with a Buneary cuddled, asleep, in her arms. Supporting the rabbit with one arm, she reached into a pocked and pulled out a pokeball. She withdrew the Bunneary and handed the pokeball over to Murasaki.
