The sun was just beginning to set, leaving shades of pink and orange to light up the graveyard. Right near the center of the graveyard was a large tombstone decorated with all sorts of flowers. There were even floral patterns engraved in it. This was the grave of Rose Bailey Willow.
Silhouettes surrounded the grave. One belonged to Professor Willow and his two twins. The other two belonged to Fleur, Cherise Town's Gym leader, and the Champion. There was also a few growlithe pups with two Aracanines laying beside the group. The Professor was sitting on the ground with Fleur on his lap. Fleur was carressing Rea in her arms as tears spilled down her soft cheeks. Fleur was Rose's little sister. The Champion was standing behind them with Roran in his arms. He had simply been asked by Professor Willow to join them.
"It's getting late," Professor Willow said at last. "Past your bed-time." Fleur stood up reluctantly and handed baby Rea back to the Professor. Professor Willow smiled through his sadness and patted the top of her head with his free hand. The Champion handed back Roran and bent down to Fleur, giving her a small kiss on the cheek.
"I'll take her back,so you can stay here a bit longer," The Champion said simply as he glanced to the Tombstone one last time. "So young." He hugged Azul good-bye and pet each of his pups. The Champion would miss his prized Arcanine, but he knew that they'd see eachother soon. He simply took ahold of Fleur's hand as they walked away, towards the sunset.
Professor Willow simply sat there with the twins in his lap. He couldn't take his eyes off of the grave. The Champion had been right. She had been too young to die. She'd miss so many things. She hadn't even seen her own kids. The professor took two of the roses that lay near the grave and gave each to the twins. They were finally at the age in which they could grip things alright. The professor really couldn't handle sitting here much longer, the tears wouldn't stop. But he found that he couldn't move. It'd feel like he was leaving her. He didn't want to go through that again.
