Since my only current character's a coordinator, I was wondering about Contest battles? Since it seems that battles in general are more like the show than the games, giving people to options to counterattack and dodge, would the contest battles be showlike? As in, when battling during an actual contest, each coordinator would start out with a certain set number of points that would be subtracted after certain occurences? Things like taking damage, dodging too often, turning an enemies attack around to make your Pokemon look good, and others have all affected the outcome of contest battles in the show.
Of course, this also brings another question to mind, the Round One stage of contests, where Pokemon showcase attacks and combinations to look good. Perhaps there could be a vote, poll, or something to see how effective it goes?
Thirdly, none of this really would matter in mock contest battles, meaning two coordinators could simply battle and practice dodging, countering, looking good, etc. None of this would matter if you followed the game contests, though then it gets kinda...bleh.
Sorry if I seem slightly....demanding for being a non moderator.

No, not demanding.
The contests are much like the show ones. There'll will be a judge (an admin or a mod). If it is just a contest battle between two people, only one mod is needed. In a large contest in which there are more than one round, there will be multiple judges.
