Why do you want to become a Moderator?I have been a moderator and an admin (both co- and head) on many sites before, most of which were wild animal or Pokemon. I haven't been a mod for a new site (or, should I say, a good site?) in quite a while - I miss it. I love always having another thread to reply on. It's tiresome at times, but fun nonetheless. Being an endless variety of people and Pokemon is awesome in my opinion. It's really a lot more fun for me than being one or two boring trainers and their Pokemon that I made. It's an amazing experience, and I would love to help make this site active and full of members. I can only do so much as a regular member. I hate seeing unanswered thread after unanswered thread on 'big' sites and don't want that to happen here. Modding is just... Fun. ^^ How active are you?I can be online most of the afternoon on the week (though I may be doing homework, so if it says I'm online and I don't respond, it's not because I'm ignoring anyone) and I have a lot of time during the weekend; I'll mostly be on in the later hours of the night. Apparently, that's when other members are on, so I'd be able to readily mod people. Are you aware of both the benefits and responsibilities of being a mod?Responsibilities: These include modding all threads possible, including member, mod, etc, unless I am told otherwise by a fellow mod or a higher ranking admin/g-mod. I should follow the rules, and remind people to follow them as well. I should be able to use my best literacy skills as often as physically possible. And, of course, I should treat all people respectfully, regardless of whether or not I like them, they mod me, or treat me with respect. In short, I should be a role model of sorts. And putting the newbies in their place. Benefits: Uh... I get a special name color? Anything else?My replies are generally fairly long, literate, and I make them pretty quickly. After being an admin on a rather large site (which had to shut down due to school), I became quite talented at making fast replies to many posts. I like adding humor to my posts, giving them my own personal touch, other than just 'Down the road sat -insert Pokemon here- and it looked up at -trainer's name-. It then fell asleep,' sort of posts. As such, my threads can take a while to complete, but they are, as I've been told, are rather fun to roleplay with, even if they can be rather... Odd, at times. I'm also dept with HTML and know quite a bit of coding - though, I'll be honest, I suck at skin making. I can also make banners for the site and for affiliates if needed. Yes, I'm extremely new to the site... But modding was a chance I couldn't turn down, if you were wondering.
